WEEK 4 (17 APRIL 2026)

During Week 4, I attended a physical class on Core Principles of Visual Composition. The lecturer explained the fundamental principles used in graphic design to create effective and visually appealing designs.

The lesson covered important concepts such as:
  • balance
  • contrast
  • alignment
  • proximity
  • repetition
  • hierarchy
  • white space
Throughout the class, the lecturer used presentation slides and practical examples to demonstrate how these principles influence the arrangement of visual elements in a design. I learned that proper visual composition helps communicate messages clearly and improves the overall user experience.

Overall, this class enhanced my understanding of design fundamentals and provided valuable knowledge that I can apply in future graphic design projects. The session was informative, engaging and helped strengthen my creative and critical thinking skills.
